Description
A playful setting of Royal Oak. The original
tune is in 4/4; my setting is in 3/4. Sometimes the melody spills over
into the next measure; at other times the melody is modified to fit the
smaller measure. In typical organ chorale fashion the accompanying voice
(here predominantly the left hand) draws its inspiration from the hymn
tune, causing occasional stretches of canon or heterophony. For further
